If a dye is advertised as irreversible, and you go and test it out to find that it is, what will you find? Their words carry weight because they are representing themselves truthfully and in integrity. You’ll have respect for one who produced that dye.
The blood of Jesus stains you, it’s irreversible. Your actions didn’t stain you, you just received the stain of His Righteousness and forgiveness by His blood. If you mess up, you find out that His words hold weight and integrity. He is exactly as He says He is, and broken by the beauty of His love you respect, honor, awe and worship Him.
Once you are stained in who He is, it’s irreversible. The first Adam stained us all by His actions into sin, the Last Adam stained us all with His blood and redeemed us from it. The difference? You have to want the stain of sin gone and receive the gift. It’s a one time deal.
